Product Description

These spectators are part of a 4000-strong crowd at the Cooma Bushman's Carnival in February 1944. The event saw rough-riders from three states testing their skills on Snowy Mountain brumbies. The equivalent of $1500 dollars in today's money was offered to those who could stay on the back of a brumby for 10 seconds. In the Wild Horse Race Final, W Jamieson was the only one to reach the finish line.
