Product Description
American actor Fred Niblo starred in this murder-mystery spoof and had audiences 'rocking with uncontrollable laughter' when staged at the Criterion Theatre. The film adaptation relied on the original theatre sets and features 'ludicrous painted architraves, flapping canvas walls and stage snow'. This, combined with a lack of understanding of 'storytelling on film', contributed to the film's failure.
