Product Description
In March 1935 the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) was operating a fleet of mobile ambulances. They were used to rescue stray, diseased, unwanted and disabled dogs and cats, nearly 2000 of which were collected every month in Sydney. This picture may have been taken for the annual Be Kind to Animals Week, which ran from 31 March to 4 April that year.
