Twenty-three-year-old Linda Malden was photographed while managing her ageing parents 2200-acre property Ramajon at Spring Ridge, New South Wales. As well as ploughing, drilling, harvesting and droving, she killed and dressed the mutton for meals and tended the household garden. In this picture, she is taking a break from heavy labour to oil the windmill.
