Product Description
Taken at Anzac Cove at about 8 am on 25 April 1915, this is one of the earliest images from that day. It shows the 4th Battalion disembarking, and the mules for the 26th Indian Mountain Battery. Lying on the sand is the body of Sapper Fred Reynolds of the 1st Field Company Engineers he was one of the first to die in the Gallipoli campaign.
