Product Description
This photo is of aviators Charles Ulm from Australia and Amelia Earhart from the United States. It was taken at Oakland Airport, California, on 4 December 1934, just before Ulm took off for Hawaii on a test flight. He was never seen again. Less than three years later, on 2 July 1937, Earhart famously disappeared while attempting to become the first female aviator to circumnavigate the world.
